Operating System:

  • Windows: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP
  • Windows Server: Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008

Minimum Memory:

  • 4GB

Additional Requirements:

  • SMTP server supporting username and password authentication for email sending.
  • Specific version of SAP Crystal Reports Runtime, depending on Smart Report Organizer version:
    • Smart Report Organizer 2026: SAP Crystal Reports Runtime 13.0.38.5404
    • Smart Report Organizer 2018-2024: SAP Crystal Reports Runtime 13.0.21.2533
  • For using Microsoft SQL Server LocalDB, the physical disk sector size must be 4096 bytes (4 KB). LocalDB is not supported on drives that report larger sector sizes (e.g., some NVMe SSDs). Important Notes:

  • Please note that you cannot have several versions of different SAP Runtime installed at the same time. If you have older applications that also require a specific SAP Runtime version, they may no longer work after the update.
  • Smart Report Organizer is not permitted for use in Windows Terminal Server Environments (e.g., Citrix or Microsoft Remote Desktop Platform).
  • The choice between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Smart Report Organizer (SRO) is based on the version of Crystal Reports used: Helpcenter: 32-BIT or 64-BIT
